Our training philosophy: bodybar’s 50 minute workouts, created by co-founder and Master Trainer Kristin Moses are designed around the proven principles of high intensity training. During the pilates/strength training moves we focus on slower controlled movements, isometric holds, core and posture. While gradually building intensity you are pushed to muscle failure. Maintaining time under tension is the key. The greater the effort you put in means less time you have to train. It’s all about training more efficiently, making bodybar’s workouts fiercely effective.
BURST: Get ready to train both your aerobic and anaerobic energy systems. The 2 minute intense cardio intervals between sets are like a BURST of fat burning adrenaline to your body. Remember we’re going for efficient and effective. The bottom line is the more intensity= better results.
Your results: Not only are you releasing endorphins and serotonin leaving you feeling that “happy high”, your body enters the EPOC zone (Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption). What does this mean? You continue to burn calories anywhere from 90 min to 24 hrs after working out.
